Mugshot Coffeehouse
Mugshot is a pop-up coffee shop whose main target audience is millennials and teens. The store’s mission is to provide customers with coffee in an eco-friendly reusable mug, while they relax in a modern and comfortable environment. This space is simple and straightforward but offers an interesting and fun twist on grabbing coffee.
The Form & Features
The building is made from two standard size shipping containers. One is used for the first floor and the other is offset on the top for the second floor. A small staircase that connects the two levels. There is also an outdoor seating area attached to the side of the building.
This shop features a wall of pegs on the first floor where the many reusable mugs would hang. The upstairs features more seating around a large fireplace to create a cozy atmosphere. The whole building has large windows to let in a lot of natural light. The building’s exterior features wood paneling around the perimeter of the store that ties in with the paneling of the patio.
